Delcam will demonstrate how the latest developments in machiningand inspection technology can improve quality and boostproductivity at a free seminar at its Birmingham headquarters on10th November. While the seminar is aimed principally atautosport applications, the programme will be of interest to allcompanies looking to produce complex prototypes, tooling orcomponents in shorter lead times and at reduced cost. The seminarwill cover recent innovations in five-axis and high-speedmachining with the latest release of Delcam's PowerMILL 5.5CAM system, plus new functionality in the PowerINSPECT softwarefor inspection with CMMS and for on-machine verification.

Kingsbury Machine Tools, the UK distributor forHermle, will cover the latest techniques for single-visitmachining of components from solid, while Renishaw will describeprogress in on-machine probing.
The seminar will also show how amore integrated approach to machining and inspection can improveproductivity.
