Wedge clamp moves in arced path, doesn't stick
Serapid, a recognized leader in quick die change equipment will feature several new hydraulic clamps at MetalForm 2007. The TBHS wedge clamp, also referred to as the escaping arc clamp, is a fixed clamp that moves in an arced path to allow for maximum clamping force. Due to the motion of the clamp, there is no risk of it sticking.
The TBHS includes a mechanical safety lock so dies will not drop in the event of a pressure failure.
The BTSC is a heavy duty rod clamp.
It features an adjustable clamping height.
The BTSC can be fixed or slide into the T-slots on the press.
This clamp is a great replacement for traditional nut and bolt clamping.
It is very compact and cost-effective.
