Efficient take-ups for aggregate conveyors

Conveyor systems involved in handling aggregate are exposed toparticularly hostile conditions and consequentially have arelatively short life expectancy. The same applies to ancillarysystems such as take-up frames. However, with the introduction ofthe new Bryant Top-Mount frame, industry now has a robustalternative for effective operation in any working environment.Available in the UK from R.
A.
Rodriguez, Top-Mount combines allthe proven advantages of the Bryant Telescoper with a newmounting arrangement.
This design places the pillow block bearingover the telescoping tubes rather than on an end plate.Furthermore, it ensures that the unit's adjustment screw andlubricant reservoir are contained within the tubes.
In this way,the adjustment mechanism is protected from material build-up,rust, corrosion and thread damage.
This compact unit is spacesaving as it has been designed to be mounted within the sideframe of most aggregate conveyors; no part of it projects beyondthe frame rails.
Three sizes are available which accommodatepillow block bearing bores of between 45-150mm (13/4 and6').
Standard travel lengths are from 230mm - 915mm (9 to36') but longer lengths are available on request.
